Abstract
Community mental health services are looking forward to community integration for people with mental disorders. The aim of the study is to analyze the contribution levels of community integration of community-based services compared to 142 people with mental disorders who use the community mental health service and 140 non-users who only use outpatient treatment. Each participants completed a series of questionnaires including physical, social, and psychological integration. We noted that age, job, resource accessibility were a significant predictor of community integration. By controlling these predictors as covariates, the two groups differed significantly in terms of physical integration and social network size, but there was no significant difference in social contact frequency and psychological integration. As a results, we suggest that community-based services should be improved in order to increase the level of community integration.
